Living in Salem International University

Studying is SIU is not only and simply in classes. You will experience living skills such as communication, team work, leadership, time managing, physical managing and many other things in the period of time in Salem. Joining in students’ clubs, service projects at the university or any other activities organized by Student Life Office.



SIU create valuable conditions for you to gain experience about unique cultures right there and much time to play around and enjoy your life. You will befriend other people and make great memories related to SIU even many years pass by.

Students’ activities and other organizations

Students’ activities is organized by Student Life Office. Those activities includes in dancing, cultural events, education programs, new-launched works of art and movies galleries. There are International Student Organization, National Association of Leaders and Success, and Alpha Phi Omega.

Student Executive Association

Student Government Association (SGA) is an office that governed Salem’s students. Student Association of right protection and responsibility stimulation. All full-time students are enrolled as members of the SGA. SGA is placed under the direction of the Executive Committee officers and members elected annually. There are many positions are appointed as well as the board and the council open to all students involved.The organization’s Executive Committee meets monthly and all students are able to attend.

The school has 17 sports of the National Collegiate Athletic Association(NCAA) and competitions across the United States in Table II with the high level of competition. Men’s water polo team played in all tables (I, II and III) of NCCA and is a member of Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA).

You can play baseball, bot men’s and women’s basketball, women’s bowling, men and women’s parade, soccer, softball, volleyball and water polo.

You can also join in a variety of events are held in the school for students who like to play bingo, movies, comedy, concerts, dance, games and casino.

While trainers guide you about education and careers, there are many other school staff guarantee you that you will succeed in university life.
