Study in Arkanas University of Technology

To support students maximize studying time at Tech, Department of International Student Services and Multicultural provide resources and services designed specifically to assist international students to succeed.

Entertainment in school

Whether students want to participate in local sports, join sports clubs, fitness groups, explore legally Ozarks, or borrow mountain bike, kayak boat, hammocks or tents to go out – they will find what they need. Participation in entertainment at school does not only fun but also impact on physical fitness and emotional thought. With many activities offered in such cases, students will have the opportunity to participate unlimitedly and meet new people through programs in schools entertainment programs.

ATU organizes about 20 individual sports and team sports during the school year. There are many tournaments and various events held annually. It is the inter-school competitions on various subjects such as flag ball, basketball, disc golf competition and many other exciting activities.

Services include orientation, immigration information update, cultural exchange programs, and other necessary support services to help international students adapt easily to American culture. American student plays a very important role because they volunteer as an assistant for international freshmen through Global Connect program.

In addition, many student organizations get the support of the Office of International Student Services and Multicultural such as Black Students Union Black, Chinese Student Association, Student Association of Hispanic, Indian Student Association , Japanese Student Association, Student Association of Arabia and Cultural Exchange Association. With the close collaboration, programs and events are developed and sponsored throughout the year to educate staff, lecturers and students about international heritage and multiculturalism.
