Casablanca (1942)
World War II broke out , people all over Europe to find ways to go to America. Casablanca , a port located on the Atlantic coast of Morocco became a transit point for those who want to escape the war . Risk Blaine , after Paris to Casablanca had been open a cafe there, named Rick 's Cafe Americain .
Trouble arose when two workers were killed and a German police began tracing the culprits . Ugarte , who sells passports , put two panels Risk send passport which he intends to sell in the night with a very high price . The film was nominated for eight Oscars and won 3rd prize : Best Film , Best Director and Best Screenplay . The two stars Humphrey Bogart (as Rick ) and Ingrid Bergman (as Ilsa ) which captivated the audience . In 1998, the American Film Institute voted Casablanca topped the list of 20 most romantic movies and took 2nd place in the 100 best films of all time. In 2005, led the list of 100 best movie lines of all time, voted by Time magazine as one of the 100 best films of all time. The script was also voted as the best of all time. As Time Goes By songs are loved by many .
